Barrick operation Cowal Gold in the Central West of NSW had an ongoing wear problem with a section of pipe used to transport ejected material from the SAG Mill. Australian Industrial Plastics designed, fabricated and installed a HDPE concentric reducer lined with glass filled UHMWPE to provide superior wear resistance and eliminate the issue.
