Project Description
Australian Industrial Plastics is normally contracted to provided ongoing plastic pipe maintanence to Delta Electricity – Vales Point operation. Built in the 1960’s, the ageing cast iron turbine feed pipe unexpectedly failed due to excessive corrosion. We provided two crews to remove existing pipe, measure fabricate and install new HDPE pipe in under 48hrs while the power station operated on only 1 turbine.
